Mr. Lam is a registered patent attorney who concentrates his practice on intellectual property with a particular focus on patent preparation and prosecution. He is a member of the Virginia Bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Lam has experience in various electrical and mechanical fields including communication networks and hardware, power transmission, gas turbine engine components, electromagnetic shielding, optical applications, business methods, software, virtual tools, automobile electrical and mechanical systems, semiconductor manufacturing, photocopying systems, and telephoto imaging.

 

Prior to joining Kile, Park, Reed & Houtteman PLLC, Mr. Lam worked in private practice at several boutique IP firms in the areas of patent preparation and prosecution for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, start-up ventures, and individual inventors.

 

Mr. Lam received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2010 and was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 where he received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a technical concentration in communications and networking.
