Mr. Lagerman, of counsel to the Firm, provides technology marketing, acquisition, licensing, financing, and commercial development services to a wide range of businesses and organizations. Mr. Lagerman draws on his engineering, science, law and business education and experience to: (1) identify target companies or financial institutions, (2) create demand for client’s products or services using a comprehensive media and publicity effort, (3) negotiate sale and/or license of ownership rights in technology assets or patented products and services and (4) structure technology licenses, joint venture agreements or research and development contracts.

 

Mr. Lagerman is admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Eastern District of Virginia, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C., the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is registered to practice before United States Patent and Trademark Office.

 

Mr. Lagerman was graduated from Catholic University of America (B.S., Biomedical Engineering, 1982); Washington College of Law, American University (J.D., 1989). He served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Randall R. Rader, Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 1991-1992.
