Mr. Salzano is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on all phases of patent procurement, having prepared and prosecuted hundreds of applications for both foreign and domestic clients at various stages of business development. His technical expertise covers a wide range of fields including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence, asset tracking, automotive systems, computer software, display devices, electronic design automation tools, medical devices and imaging techniques, network services, optics, semiconductor fabrication and process equipment, sensors, and telecommunications. Mr. Salzano also prepares freedom-to-operate, clearance, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions, as well as provides litigation support services.
Prior to joining Kile Park, Mr. Salzano was an associate at a few internationally recognized, boutique intellectual property firms. His advanced academic training focused on electronic product reliability and failure mechanisms, as well as asset tracking and monitoring systems. In addition, Mr. Salzano gained valuable industry experience in the Test Design Department at Northrop Grumman in association with the F-16 and F-22 platforms.
Mr. Salzano earned his J.D. degree at The George Washington University Law School, and both of his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park. He is currently licensed to practice in Virginia and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
