Mr. Pryor is a registered patent agent whose expertise lies in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of electrical and mechanical technologies before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He is also well versed in providing extensive research on patent-related issues for legal opinions, infringement analysis, validity searches and litigation preparation.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pryor worked as a patent agent specializing in electronic devices, telecommunications technology, hybrid automotive technology, aerospace technology, semiconductor fabrication, electroluminescent displays, medical devices, and software and internet fields. Mr. Pryor also worked as an in-house patent agent for a well-known Silicon Valley high technology company.

 

Mr. Pryor brings over 13 years of experience as a patent agent for a number of national law firms in the Washington, DC area. He has particular knowledge in obtaining and prosecuting patent applications for large U.S. and international companies. Mr. Pryor has also been tapped to facilitate the development and preparation of programs for clientele to manage and protect their intellectual property assets.

 

Prior to working as a patent agent, Mr. Pryor worked as a U.S. patent examiner for over five years in the cutting and tooling arts, specializing in cutting methods and devices, and tearing and bursting devices and procedures, including control systems thereof.
